Outreach Manager
Are you interested in dramatically reducing global suffering? We are seeking a Outreach Manager to influence industries like poultry, and aquaculture to opt for genetically suffering-reduced animals.
Responsibilities:

Identify and engage with companies to promote the use of suffering-reduced animals

Develop and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders to support our animal welfare initiatives

Collaborate with research and advocacy organizations to influence industries toward improving genetic welfare.

Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to promote animal welfare and build relationships with stakeholders

Work closely with our research analysts to address consumer and corporate concerns

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform advocacy and partnership efforts
Qualifications Wishlist:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. animal science, business, public relations)

3+ years of experience in advocacy, partnerships, or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with industry stakeholders

Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to making a positive impact in the world
Work Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. Some after-hours and weekend work is needed for events and industry conferences, coupled with more off-time to achieve better work-life balance. We believe that intrinsically motivated personnel do their best and most creative work when given ample opportunity to relax and enjoy life outside of saving the world.

Location:
This position is remote. Some domestic and international travel is required.
