Outreach Manager

Are you interested in dramatically reducing global suffering? We are seeking a Outreach Manager to influence industries like poultry, and aquaculture to opt for genetically suffering-reduced animals. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with companies to promote the use of suffering-reduced animals

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with industry stakeholders to support our animal welfare initiatives

  • Collaborate with research and advocacy organizations to influence industries toward improving genetic welfare.

  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to promote animal welfare and build relationships with stakeholders

  • Work closely with our research analysts to address consumer and corporate concerns

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform advocacy and partnership efforts


Qualifications Wishlist:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. animal science, business, public relations)

  • 3+ years of experience in advocacy, partnerships, or a related field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with industry stakeholders

  • Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to making a positive impact in the world

Work Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm CST. Some after-hours and weekend work is needed for events and industry conferences, coupled with more off-time to achieve better work-life balance. We believe that intrinsically motivated personnel do their best and most creative work when given ample opportunity to relax and enjoy life outside of saving the world.

 

Compensation:
Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience, and standard benefits specific to location

Location:
This position is remote. Some domestic and international travel is required.
